The ESTEAM Approach

In the Biz Lab program, kids learn the basics of business (marketing, financials, presentations, sales, customer service, etc.) through fun activities and create their own business! They play games, do arts and crafts, and use Canva to design logos and other graphics. Our goal in this program is to help each kid find their entrepreneurial self, help them see how so many things tie together in the world of business, and have a blast doing it!

Kids come up with a business idea based on their passions and skills.  Then, all the activities we do are centered around building and growing their business.  Arts and Crafts include making signs and banners for their business.  Digital design includes creating a logo, web design, flyers, menus/price lists, and maybe even video editing.  We might even build prototypes of products out of recycled materials.  By the end of the session they’ll have built a business that’s ready to launch!

We also implement a curriculum called VentureLab.  It combines Entrepreneurship with STEAM education, called ESTEAM (Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Math).  

We are proud to be the recipient of a full scholarship for the Venture Lab curriculum and license for 2025-2026.  VentureLab has helped strengthen and grow our program by providing a proven curriculum with resources and tools for our students that they wouldn't have access to otherwise.  We are grateful for the partnership and look forward to expanding our reach.
